- it should be reproducable and relevant
- it must be beneficial to the targeted audience
- look for publishing site in relevance to topic
- the criteria /format used must meet the standards of the publishing site
- the research paper must have a detailed outline
- paper must be peer reviewed
- work on the reviewed paper
- submit final draft
- theres’ a review process by editor
- results determine the next step
- If rejected try else where
- If accepted you work on to meeting the standards more in depth
- then it would be published
